Social Innovation Competition for School and University Students from Ebhar Misr

The competition aims at finding and sponsoring scientific ideas and inventions, which serve the community.

The competition is presented by Crédit Agricole Egypt Foundation for Development in collaboration with Education First Foundation and guidance of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.

1. Fields of the Competition:

Energy and water resources with a social benefit impact

2. Eligible Age:

- Group A: Secondary school students of maximum age 19 years old on June 1st, 2021 

- Group B:  University students of maximum age 24 years old on June 1st, 2021.  Eligible students MUST be still registered at university and not yet graduated.

3- Terms & Conditions:

• Participant must be Egyptian and of the specified age groups.
• Providing a prototype
• Project/invention must have a social benefit 
• Project/invention must serve the specified fields (Energy and Water resource)
• Competition winners must commit to the execution of their project/invention
• Providing a scientific validation
• Submitting commercial/economic study
• Presenting execution plan (blueprint)

Prizes:

Project/invention execution in addition to monetary prizes:

First Prize: EGP 75,000

Second Prize: EGP 50,000

Third Prize: EGP 25,000

Participation as a team of maximum three members is welcomed and preferred.  Monetary prizes will be split amongst team members.
